Anthology editor seeking submissions from people in a wide variety of criminal justice careers -- both civilian and military -- encompassing the "3 Cs": cops, courts and corrections.
Stories should cover how you got into your career -- by accident, by design, or anything in between -- day-to-day experiences, and a pivotal moment in your career. Take us on a journey with you through your day, or through your career. Let us feel what it's like to do your job: the good, the bad, the frustrating, the successes, the failures -- but most of all, the reality.
An excellent example of the type of story that would be welcome can be found in Joe Poss's and Marcus Laffey's contributions to the book "NYPD: Stories of Survival from the World's Toughest Beat."
The intended audience is criminal justice students who need a realistic look at CJ careers. The anthology will have wide general audience appeal, as well.
